About
Hey, I'm Paul and I'm the founder of Climate Tech Network.
I have a long-standing passion for all things tech, right from coding my first game on a Commodore 64 at the age of 11. Since then I've consulted for some of the world's largest companies, including GE Capital, Reuters and Munch Re.
In the early 2000s I moved into web development, later specializing in software development.
In 2022 I watched a David Attenborough documentary which painted a very disturbing outlook for our planet. My kids were visibly worried, so I decided to find some good news. I started researching the solutions that were being developed - I wanted to show them some good news to encourage them. I started finding some amazing innovations, but it was frustrating how hard it was to find all these incredible things people are doing all over the world.
I then spent a couple of months researching everything I could find, including the challenges facing climate tech startups. This led to the first ideas of a platform that can bring them together with people who can help them.
The idea developed and in November that year I started coding the platform. In February 2023 this first beta version was released.
I'm proud of what we've achieved, and I'm truly grateful to each of our members for making this the first and best platform of its kind.
