Bruce is an artist, entrepreneur, financial professional, scientist, author of six scientific articles during his entrepreneurial journey including the recent August 30, 2022, Article; An Examination and a Solution to replace the use of Mercury in Artisanal Ore Processing. A Journal of Cleaner Production Preprint published on Research Gate, a scientific community of 30 million members hosting 135 million scientific publications.

After graduating with his Masters in Science from Simon Fraser University in 1980, Bruce spent a 7-year tenure between the years 1980 to 1987 at Moli Energy Limited© (MoLi©), today known as E-One MOLICEL®, supporting the team of scientists who developed the world’s first rechargeable lithium molybdenum disulphide (MoS2) intercalation battery compound researching and testing battery electrolytes and including 2 years as Marketing Director.

During that tenure, Bruce successfully secured Moli Energy's 1st battery contract to build 12-volt lithium battery packs for radio transmitters for the US Military N.Y. Fort Mammoth division. Bruce also supported Moli's public listing on the Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX) and the contemporaneous $250 million CDN capital raise, the largest raise for a technology company at that time on the TSX.

During 1987 - 2015, Bruce's time was spent as an interim President/CEO for numerous public companies listed on the former Vancouver Stock Exchange (VSE) and companies listed on the US OTC Markets platform seeking to increase the company and shareholder value through the acquisition of private company assets contemporaneous with financing..

Twelve of those years, Bruce and his team focused on private technology companies seeking to raise capital in the public markets. Most notable, 2 companies with diagnostic CHIP technologies for monitoring oil and gas pipelines and on board automobile computers remotely and in real time which the team financed and listed the companies on the VSE through a process referred to as a reverse merger listing creating value for both the private and public company shareholders. .

The remaining years Bruce functioned in the same capacity on the US OTC Markets platform facilitating private companies capital raise and reverse merger listings.

Bruce’s 35 years of entrepreneurial business experience with the most recent being the last 7 years researching the S. America mining sector, brings a plethora of skill sets to this ESG-driven climate action initiative which has been evolving since June 2015. These skills include the ability to facilitate financial and securities transactions (domestic and international), marketing, corporate governance, public or private company administration, and the raising of capital.

Since June 2015, Bruce is the Pres/CEO of Manipueira Gold Recovery Technology, Inc., (f.k.a.) Alchemy Mining Group, Inc., with plans to convert a whole ore mercury amalgamation Chilean processing center to the world’s first sustainable precious metals leaching center using manipueira as a lixiviant to replace the use of mercury in gold ore processing.

Manipueira, an extract solution from the cyanogenic bitter cassava plant when used as a lixiviant, is proven, and scientifically documented to leach more gold from ore than by using mercury and gold from toxic tailings wastes faster and less costly than by using hard to handle cyanide salts.

The symbiosis of artisanal ore processors and flour makers is a win-win situation to reduce mercury environmental pollution while mitigating an unintended consequence of harvesting the bitter cassava plant.
